A DigiTrap-1015 costs approximately $2000.00 for a 4-port system. Our PollStar application reads the calls ringing in and hanging up, then displays a client’s account #s, answer phrases from 4 to 12 incoming lines, and additionally provides a call account report. 

This system is referred to as a papered system as it identifies and answers calls, but the operator takes messages and manages client contact through various other means. 

When decision-makers choose to upgrade this system, they may want to add KisStar, thus attaining a complete paperless system. By using their own XP/Vista computers and phones along with KisStar, they then own a complete system for automated message management and message delivery applications. An example of both PollStar and the Kistar operation checkout this video

The DigiTrap and related hardware must be purchased and can be ordered from Nicollet. Your contact reference is Mr. Warren Kahle who can assist in specifications and additional teleco help. An optimal device for this process is DT-915 Auto Polling option that functions perfectly with MASTAR. 

Any decent telephone system will work when connected to the DigiTrap that uses RJ11 line inputs/outputs to standard phones. Any phone will work; when considering expansion, however, it’s preferable to have the right options in place with sufficient buttons to add more phone lines. The Digitrap with 4 ports, trunks and lines represents 4 buttons on your phone, and for additional lines and trunks the terminology is about the same. 

We suggest starting with a 4 ports system. That configuration would consist of two PC cards, each with two ports. Nicollet will ship to your location, they give you support helping with the installation, even work with your phone company, if required.
