Hosted PBX      Another low cost entry method, option to discussed is called hosted PBX Services. Generally there's little or no hardware cost. Your PBX hardware is remote with different pay plans. I have one such provider quote, link here, and concidently talked to a new startup prospect using this provider. Their startup cost was pretty amazing and much lower than my own quote!

And this is of some interest to mention - Hosted TAS
.. and for your information, and education, another availble options starting up a service. There competitor, more specific TAS provider that offers an all inclusive solution. It's sophisticated, pricey supplying both VoIP and an Internet based TAS turnkey. Heresay, estimated cost for 60 clients.. if you go this way, unlimited VoIP input time, but pay for output time was about $800 a month and $8 per DID numbers.
